I had the chance to interview Victoria Drake, who filed a lawsuit last week alleging that she had been raped by Paolo Zampolli in October 2023. (See video at end). Zampolli currently serves in President Donald Trump’s administration as the US Special Representative for Global Partnerships.
Drake has released several photos from that night, including a selfie taken inside an elevator at Zampolli’s New York residence.
Visible behind Drake, on the elevator wall elevator is a lithograph of several girls floating on black inner tubes in a pool.
“The inner tubes, [Zampolli] did have a residence in Milan, where they would make girls strip down nude or wearing bikini tops. Always black. And usually a thong bikini, sitting in a black inner tube. If you’re over the age of 20, then you’re not getting in the pool with an inner tube.” Drake said.
This detail immediately reminded me of a similar picture Jeffrey Epstein had displayed prominently in his Palm Beach Mansion in 2005, when it was raided by the Palm Beach Police Department in 2005.
Epstein later moved the piece to his private island, Little St. James, where it hung in a guest cabana.
In the 2000s, Epstein and Zampolli operated in overlapping social circles in New York, Palm Beach, and Miami. In 2004, Epstein and Zampolli partnered up in a failed bid to purchased Elite Model Management (NY Division) out of Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Epstein pledged financial backing. But they were outbid by Eddie Trump (not related to Donald Trump).
